About the Diamond Head Luau
One of the most iconic sights in tropical Honolulu is Diamond Head Crater. This natural wonder also provides a stunning backdrop for Oahu’s most exclusive luau.
From most Waikiki Hotels, the Diamond Head Luau is only a short beach walk away. Once you arrive, you’re greeted with wholehearted Hawaiian hospitality. Leis and tropical cocktails are only the beginning of this magical evening. Spend some time with us and learn how to dance hula, weave baskets, make your own lei, play the ukulele, and learn about the ancient Polynesian tradition of tattoo. As a special bonus, admission to the adjacent Waikiki Aquarium is included in your luau ticket!
After this fun immersion in Hawaiian culture we invite you to try all the flavors of traditional and modern island cuisine. A variety of exotic fruits, classic tropical dishes and modern takes on Hawaiian staples are sure to excite the senses. Enjoy this time with your family and loved ones as the sun sets over the crystal blue Pacific Ocean. None of our dessert options will be sweeter than the scent of tropical flowers blooming all around you in the garden. After dinner, sit back and let our showcase of Polynesian music and dance enchant you.
The guest list is limited to 350, which makes this the most exclusive luau on the island. Make sure you reserve your spot well in advance; not only the unique location, but also the intimate garden setting and the authentic menu make this luau a very popular Hawaiian experience.
Make sure you don’t miss out on this unforgettable evening. We can’t wait to entertain you!

An open air show held on the Aquarium grounds, some basic entertainment and a four guy, four gal dance troupe who run through steps from the Pacific Islands. All this while the sun sets beautiful!

Staff was extremely friendly. The Manager Jimmy helped our elders getting settled. Very nice man. Diamond Head Band was Amazing! The Show was exciting and very authentic Polynesian themed. MC Tony had us laughing and kept the event flowing smoothly. On top of it all, you’re right on Waikiki Beach, so you have the sound of the ocean and a beautiful sunset to add to the breathtaking atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Locals on Oahu and this Luau was recommended by our neighbors. I have been to PCC Luau, Chiefs, and Paradise Cove Luaus and I can testify that this is one of the best. We went on a Friday night and were able to catch the regular Hilton Fireworks show plus after hours private access to the Waikiki Aquarium! It makes this more than just a Luau!

Organized, great setting, good food, awesome entertainment. Starts off with areas where you can learn to weave palm head bands, play ukulele, string flower leis, etc. The ten-year old fire spinner was nothing short of mind blowing. A complimentary mai tai and two drink tickets keep things going good in my book.
