Maui’s Most Incredible Snorkelling

Molokini crater, a long dead volcanic crater in the sea just off the shore of Maui, is the natural habitat of countless varieties of fish, coral and other sea life. The shallow, warm waters in the half-moon shaped islet offer ideal conditions for snorkeling all year around.

Every winter, between December and March, humpback whales come to the shallow waters of Maui to give birth and rest with their babies. The calm, clear waters and colorful reefs are truly unique. While all of Maui can offer you swimming and relaxation, there is one special place that stands out.

Maui Snorkel at Molokini Crater charters will take you out to experience the clear blue waters of this natural marine preserve without roughing it. Leisurely sail across Maalea bay as you enjoy a luxurious continental breakfast and the tropical views of Maui Island. Once you reach the crater you can spend all morning exploring the reef. With a bit of luck you will see whales as they breech nearby. Bring your binoculars to witness the multitude of life at the bird sanctuary on the crescent islet.

After your swim there is time to relax and clean up with a hot or cold fresh water shower and get ready for lunch with the crew. Choose your favorites from the gourmet lunch buffet and dine in style. Beer, wine and other ice cold drinks are included.
