Maui Ocean Kayaking

Ocean Kayaking Tours on Maui

Whales in the winter, turtles year round, and occasionally pods of dolphins make our Makena Turtle Adventure a guide and guest favorite! We have been snorkeling and exploring these waters for years and know where to find the best wildlife and calmest water!

Makena is consistently fantastic with calm, clear waters, great views, and guaranteed turtle sightings. Tucked in the lee of majestic Haleakala, Makena is rarely windy and has great snorkeling options from the novice beginner to the saltiest of sea dogs! Makena is on the south side of Maui, just south of Kihei and Wailea into Turtle Town. Come out with us and see what the Makena Ocean Adventure is all about for yourself!

Aloha Kayaks Maui provides clients with the most “hands-off, hands-on” tour experiences on island. In an attempt to operate as one with the environment, we practice safe and sustainable techniques on land and water before, during, and after our tours. We use non-motorized boats, reusable water bottles, drop our anchors in the sand, and clean our gear in earth friendly products to educate guests on how to enjoy the ocean in a way that Leaves No Trace.

We do not drop our anchors on the reef, feed fish, or pull marine life off the floor of the ocean for “show and tell”. After a morning on the water with Aloha Kayaks Maui our clients will have a better understanding and appreciation of proper ocean etiquette and enhanced kayaking skills!
